Tenure-track Faculty Search

The Department of Chemistry at Brandeis University is seeking a creative individual at the assistant professor level for a tenure-track faculty position in experimental physical chemistry. The ideal candidate will have expertise that combines physical-chemical methods development with applications to timely areas such as renewable energy, materials chemistry, or biological problems. The integration of modern computational methods into proposed research is also desirable. The successful applicant is expected to establish a vigorous externally funded research program and be an enthusiastic teacher at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Department of Chemistry is part of a vibrant and interactive scientific community. A research-intensive liberal arts university, Brandeis fosters highly collaborative science both within and between departments. The campus is located in Waltham, MA, the heart of the Rte. 128 biotechnology corridor and 20 minutes from Boston and Cambridge.
