Assistant Professor of Philosophy
Brandeis University

The Department of Philosophy at Brandeis University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Philosophy, beginning Fall 2022, pending budgetary approval. The Areas of Specialization and Competence are open. Duties include the teaching of graduate and undergraduate courses in the candidate’s areas of specialization and competence, as well as advising of Master’s and undergraduate students and service to the department and university. The teaching load is two courses per semester. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in philosophy by the date of appointment and must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching.
