We seek a sociologist who will expand the existing strengths of the department (https://www.colgate.edu/academics/departments-programs/department-sociology-and-anthropology/faculty-and-staff-sociology), particularly scholars whose research and teaching incorporates intersectionality in some fashion. Strong candidates will be able to teach Introduction to Sociology and electives in their areas of specialization. Candidates with prior teaching experience preferred.

Completion of a PhD. in Sociology is required prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
