The Department of History at Cornell University seeks applicants for a position in pre-1900 African American women’s and gender history at either the tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate Professor level. We welcome all areas of specialization. Applicants must have their Ph.D. in hand by July 1, 2021. We will request letters of recommendation from those candidates selected for the second round of review.
