The Alberts lab in the Biology Department at Duke University is looking for one field research assistant to collect behavioral data from mothers and infants in Amboseli, Kenya. This is a full-time position from May-June 2021.

Responsibilities and requirements: • Collect behavioral data from mother and infant baboons while in the field. • Complete daily data storage. • Collect opportunistic fecal samples from infant and mother baboons

Qualifications: • Applicant must have a background in biology and/or anthropology. • Priority to applicants with previous experience with related research. • Experience traveling/living abroad, or experience performing field work.

Position will pay a small monthly stipend.
