The Fermilab Theoretical Physics Department expects to make one appointment at the level of Associate Scientist with a five year term beginning October 1, 2010. This position is roughly equivalent to a junior faculty position at a university and has the possibility of leading, in time, to a tenured appointment at the Laboratory. We are seeking candidates with a doctorate in theoretical physics who have demonstrated creativity and a high level of technical competence in formal or phenomenological areas of theoretical particle physics research.
