| The nuclear theory group at Iowa State University is soliciting
applications for one postdoctoral position.
The appointment is expected to begin on September 1, 2010.
The initial offer is for one year and renewable for a second year.
We especially encourage applications from those with an interest
in QCD and its application to nuclear physics.
Our group consists of three faculty members (Jianwei Qiu
(jwq@iastate.edu), Kirill Tuchin (tuchin@iastate.edu)
and James P. Vary (jvary@iastate.edu)).
Our research interests are concentrated on QCD and
Strong interactions, including efforts on both perturbative and
non-perturbative approaches. In addition, we have a strong
nuclear experimental program, consisting of four faculty who
are active members of the PHENIX Collaboration at RHIC.
