DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a 4.5 month term appointment in Inorganic Chemistry. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on December 15, 2023, subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be required to teach two in-person undergraduate courses in Inorganic Chemistry: such as CHEM 4331: Organometallics, and an upper-level undergraduate course to be determined in consultation with the Department. Contributions to research and service are expected during the appointment. Candidates must provide evidence of an ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and student-centered environment.
