Description:  The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the general area of experimental physical chemistry. Candidates interested in developing a world-class research program in any area of experimental physical chemistry are encouraged to apply. The new faculty member will join an interdisciplinary community on the main campus in Columbus, Ohio. Departmental faculty have access to state-of-the-art campus and national user facilities in areas such as electron microscopy, NMR, and time-resolved laser science including X-ray and XUV spectroscopy.

Qualifications:  A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required. The position will begin Autumn 2023. Demonstrated excellence in innovative research and a strong commitment to teaching are essential. Outstanding applicants in all areas of physical chemistry will be considered but priority will be given to those candidates whose research interests complement those of existing faculty.
