Pomona College is searching for an Animal Physiologist to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2023. Applicants should have a doctorate in biology or a closely related field. Additional qualifications include previous teaching experience with a strong interest in teaching undergraduates, a desire to mentor underrepresented populations, postdoctoral experience, and potential to develop a research program that involves undergraduate students.

The successful candidate will offer an upper-level course in Animal Physiology with a laboratory in fall and in spring will participate in teaching either Introductory Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, or Introductory Cell Biology or both courses in alternate spring semesters. Additional courses may include advanced classes in the candidate's area of expertise.

Pomona College and the Biology Department support equal access to higher education.
