Stanford University The Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics (SITP) is searching for postdoctoral fellows across the full range of theoretical physics. Particular areas of focus this year will include quantum field theory and string theory, cosmology and quantum gravity, particle physics and phenomenology and quantum information science. SITP also includes a Condensed Matter theory group with an open postdoc position. SITP enjoys fruitful interactions with the Q-FARM initiative in quantum science and engineering at Stanford, the Kavli Institute of Particle Physics and Cosmology, as well as with the Stanford Mathematics Department and machine learning research centers on campus and in industry. The Ultra-Quantum Matter initiative is also represented at Stanford and contributes to the lively atmosphere for postdocs in SITP. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2022.
