Psychiatric Mental Health NP Faculty, Graduate School of Nursing

Description: This position is a 1.0 FTE full time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor for an individual to teach both clinical and didactic courses in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program in the Graduate School of Nursing. The GSN offers the PMHNP track in the DNP program as well as a Post Graduate Certificate. Applicants should have experience with online graduate nursing teaching. The position reports to the PMHNP Coordinator, the Director of NP Programs, and the Associate Dean for Advanced Practice Programs. The mission of the Graduate School of Nursing is to prepare practice-focused and research-focused prepared nurses and leaders to improve the quality of life and health outcomes for the Commonwealth and beyond. Through partnerships with multi-cultural communities and clinical organizations, research, practice, service and education are integrated to advance nursing knowledge, science and competencies to provide exemplary health care for all.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a doctoral degree in nursing and be a licensed, certified and practicing PMHNP or PMHCNS with an established record of effective teaching, service, and professional experience. Salary and rank are commensurate with previous experience. The position will remain open until filled.
