Nagoya University Global 30 International Programs Nagoya, Japan http://en.nagoya-u.ac.jp/employment/ The Physics Program in the Nagoya University Global 30 International Programs invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, Designated Associate Professor, or Designated Professor position. We encourage candidates who have shown excellence in teaching Physics to students at the undergraduate level to apply. The G30 Program is known for its small class sizes, motivated students, and international atmosphere. Standard teaching load is up to eight courses per year. A course is equivalent to one 90-minute lecture per week for 15 weeks. Successful applicants will also be expected to advise students and take part in admissions. The successful candidate should engage in research in the Department of Physics at the Graduate School of Science. Qualifications:
Compensation: The initial contract will start in October 2018 and terminate in September 2021. Contingent upon job performance and funding of the Global 30 International Program, the contract may be renewable every three years, possibly up to the termination of 30 September 2028. Salary: Approximately JPY5,000,000-10,000,000/year (all inclusive). Salary will depend on qualifications and experience. Taxes and insurances will be withheld from the annual salary.
