The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Center for Security Studies at Georgetown University are seeking to fill a non-tenure line professorship in the field of security studies. The position will ideally be filled by a retired senior military officer, preferably at the rank of General or Admiral, who would engage students and colleagues as a practitioner in the area of military operations and U.S. national security. The term of the appointment is for three years and is potentially renewable. The successful candidate will teach full-time in the M.A.-level Security Studies Program, including teaching the program’s core courses.
