The Broad Institute and Department of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, Massachusetts) seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, effective July 1, 2019, or as soon thereafter as possible. The applicant's research program should involve, but is not limited to, the study of molecules, cells, organisms, and/or the interactions among them, using the tools of computational biology, data science/machine learning, genetics, biochemistry, biophysics, and/or cell and molecular biology. The successful candidate will have laboratory space at the Broad Institute.

Successful applicants are expected to share our commitment to undergraduate and graduate education by teaching courses and supervising graduate and undergraduate research, as well as develop and lead a vibrant, independent, research program. We are also interested in candidates who will help promote and provide diversity. Candidates must hold a PhD in the biological, chemical, physical, mathematical, or computational sciences, or in an engineering field; or an MD; or equivalent terminal degree.
