Position Description:    

The Economics Department at Colgate University, a highly selective liberal arts university of 2900 students situated in central New York State, invites applications for one or more open-rank, tenure-stream positions, beginning fall semester 2019. Expectations include excellence in both teaching and research. Preference will be given to candidates whose scholarship and teaching interests includes international macro topics, but scholarship in any broadly related field will be welcome. Outstanding candidates in any field will be considered. Completion of Ph.D. prior to or shortly after the date of hire is expected. All Colgate University faculty are expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.
