Position Description:    

The Department of Romance Studies at Cornell University is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor in Latin American studies. We are especially interested in scholars working in the following fields: media studies, performance studies, critical theory, ecocriticism, and 19-20th century Latin America. Applicants should have strong interdisciplinary interests, theoretical competence, a strong commitment to research and teaching, and (near) native fluency in Spanish. Ph.D. required by appointment start date of July 1, 2019.
