The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking out exceptional scholars/engineers/teachers for an Assistant Research Faculty position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Applications are desired from candidates who will build research strength in the areas of computational imaging and spectroscopy, metamaterials, and machine learning. Candidates should have a background in one or more of the following areas: metamaterials, machine learning, nano-fabrication, optical imaging and spectroscopy, and applications of these techniques. Strong candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of experience with nano-fabrication, as well as applying such techniques to real-world applications involving imaging, hyperspectral imaging, spectroscopy, energy harvesting, and thermal emission control. Successful candidates will also have an outstanding track record of both written and oral communication. Evidence of significant mentoring capabilities are also sought. Successful candidates are expected to have an established research record, be capable of obtaining competitive external research funding, and actively participate in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
