The Department of Physics at William & Mary seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in experimental condensed matter physics. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field at the time of appointment (August 10, 2019). The successful candidate will establish an internationally recognized research program that complements and enhances the existing strengths in the department, which has about 30 faculty members and 60 Ph.D. graduate students. The successful candidate will play an important role in both the undergraduate and doctoral programs of the Physics Department and contribute to the department's new Engineering Physics and Applied Design degree track.
