POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE POSITION AVAILABLE IN COMPUTER SIMULATION STUDIES OF POLYSACCHARIDE CONFORMATIONS AND HYDRATION IN BIOFILMS 
A postdoctoral associate is needed to work on projects that involve molecular dynamics studies of polysaccharides and aqueous solutions in bacterial biofilms. A background in molecular simulations, theoretical chemistry or biophysics is required. Experience in molecular mechanics calculations, ab initio studies, statistical mechanics, and computers is necessary. Experience with Monte Carlo methods, free energy simulations, and polymers would also be desirable.

Description: 1 year appointment, pending renewable funding; position is full-time, 1FTE. 

Requirements: A Ph.D. in physical chemistry, physics, biophysics, polymer science, or related field is required. Previous experience with computer simulations and molecular mechanics calculations is essential. A general familiarity with UNIX/LINUX and computer programming is also necessary.
