Postdoctoral Research Associate in Host‐Bacteria Interactions. A position is available immediately for a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join Jeongmin Song’s lab at Cornell University. My research team seeks answers to fundamental biological questions aimed at better understanding of the pathogenic mechanism of the typhoid fever-causing Salmonella, and the biology of bacterial AB toxins. Based on our basic research findings, in experimental animals, we also perform translational research aimed at improving current vaccines and therapeutic strategies against typhoid fever. The postdoctoral scientist will be supported by a National Institutes of Health R01 grant awarded to the PI.

Candidates should submit a CV, a cover letter describing your research experience and professional goals, and contact information for at least three professional references to Jeongmin Song (jeongmin.song@cornell.edu). Resumes will be reviewed as they are received, and a hiring decision made as soon as an appropriate number of qualified candidates have been reviewed.
