The Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik in Heidelberg, Germany, invites applications
for postdoc positions in theoretical particle and astroparticle physics.
The theoretical group has a wide range of interests in several areas of physics beyond the SM,
model building, dark matter, neutrinos, electroweak symmetry breaking, the physics of the
early Universe, etc. Close contacts exist with the experimental groups at the
institute and also with Heidelberg University.
The group consists of members of the division
``Particle and Astroparticle Physics'' of M. Lindner,
including E. Akhmedov,
the Max-Planck-Fellow A.Y. Smirnov,
the research groups of W. Rodejohann and F. Goertz
and about twenty postdocs and students.

The positions can start any time in fall 2019 for a period of initially
2 years with a possible extension to a third year. Applicants are requested to have a Ph.D.
latest by the start of the appointment. The deadline for applications is December 9, 2018.
