The Duke Center for In Vivo Microscopy has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow in preclinical CT.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, physics or a related field. Experience with CT imaging will be useful but not essential.

Primary Responsibilities: • Developing of new preclinical CT imaging methods ( both in sampling and reconstruction) • Performing image quality assessment and imaging optimization • Execution of in vivo preclinical CT scans and data analysis • Monitoring tumor growth and response to therapy in pre-clinical cancer studies

Appointment: The initial appointment will be for two years with opportunities for extension.

About CIVM: The CIVM is a NIBIB National Resource dedicated to the development of novel preclinical imaging methods and application of those methods to interesting biomedical questions. The Center has state of the art preclinical imaging systems and a comprehensive visual informatics activity for post processing and analysis.
