The CCAT Prime Group at the Cornell Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science, and the Department of Astronomy at Cornell University is seeking up to three Research Associates to work in Observational Cosmology using the CCAT-Prime observatory starting in the summer of 2019. The positions require a Ph.D. and 3-4 years’ experience in Astrophysics, Physics, or a related field. Additional expertise in cosmology especially with experience in instrumentation, data analysis, and/or numerical simulations is desired. Successful candidates will work within the CCAT-Prime group at Cornell University which includes Professors Nicholas Battaglia, Terry Herter, Michael Niemack, Dominik Riechers, Gordon Stacey, and Rachel Bean. The group also includes Cornell Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow Steve Choi. The candidates' immediate supervisor will depend on the area into which a candidate is hired.

The position is for one year, with continuation for two more years’ contingent upon funding and performance. The nominal starting date is June 1, 2019 and is negotiable.
