The Department of Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University is seeking applications for a Associate in Research with the Hare Group at Duke University to begin as early as March 1, 2019.

Your duties will include overseeing animal programs / procedures at the Duke Canine Cognition Center, Duke Puppy Kindergarten and other research sites (e.g. coordinate undergraduate and graduate volunteers and researchers, help organize and test dogs and humans at the cognition center, test lemurs at the lemur center or wolves in Minnesota sanctuary; code research video; help organize and maintain dog database / subject pool; monitor ethics approvals adding students and appending protocol changes promptly; ordering lab equipment and maintain lab organization; help with all arrangements for travel to conferences or Africa; help setup and organize lab meetings; work with department management in organizing receipts for lab expenditures; edit research papers and help format references; track down papers / references in library; copy papers, documents or articles; help look for grants to apply to and edit grant applications; help build testing apparatuses used in tests; work with computer support to build / maintain website, organize visits and host guests to the lab including those visiting from the media and for IACUC inspections, help organize local workshops or conferences our lab is involved in, etc.)
