The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure track, full-time, position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Master Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

The candidate will instruct selected chemical engineering courses depending on the specific needs of the department. In particular, we are seeking passionate lecturers to engage undergraduate students through innovations in education in the chemical engineering curriculum and experiential learning in the Unit Operations Laboratory. The candidate will also contribute to continuous curriculum improvement, academic program ABET accreditation, and developing new educational initiatives. Successful submission and funding of grants focused on engineering education is strongly encouraged. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in department, university, and professional service activities. Previous experience with teaching in a laboratory setting is highly desirable. Industry experience and/or contacts would be beneficial for instructors teaching engineering design.
