The Department of Romance Studies at Cornell University seeks to hire a one year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in French. We are especially interested in scholars working in the following fields: 19/20th century France, Francophone studies, media studies, gender studies. Applicants should have strong interdisciplinary interests, theoretical competence, a strong commitment to research and teaching, and (near) native fluency in French. The appointment begins on August 16, 2019.
