Position Description:    

The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program at Duke University announces a Post-Doctoral Associate appointment available beginning August 1, 2019. The position will be for one year, ending on July 31, 2020. Applicants will be selected based on the likely synergies between their research interests and the resources in Duke's Political Science Department and Economics Department, particularly the Center on the History of Political Economy. Areas of strength for successful applicants will include interests in statistical methods, game theory, formal political theory, and Public Choice.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Philosophy, Politics, or Economics, or receive that degree no later than June 30, 2019. If a candidate does not have a Ph.D. in hand by June 30, 2019 no offer or agreement is valid.
