The College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University, announces an exciting opening for a Fellowship in Veterinary Anesthesiology. The Fellowship program consists of a two-year appointment that combines clinical veterinary anesthesiology and an innovative research program in the area of equine anesthesia recovery. This program invites applications from faculty seeking to develop post-residency experience in tertiary clinical service, and research expertise in the area of equine anesthesiology. The successful applicant will have a DVM, or an equivalent qualification, and have completed a residency in veterinary anesthesiology. Diplomate status by the ACVAA or ECVAA is preferred.

The position is focused on supporting the clinical, educational, and academic missions of the Section of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Cornell University. The second main area involves active participation in an externally funded research project aimed at improving the safety in equine anesthetic recovery.
