The Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Public Policy is seeking applications for a visiting faculty position during academic year 2019-2020, beginning in August 2019. This visiting faculty opportunity is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits. The candidate will be expected to teach two courses each semester, to actively engage in research and scholarly activities, and to participate in service to the School, College, and Institute.

We are seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in public policy, public administration, economics, management or related fields with expertise to teach courses on public finance, public budgeting, and statistics to public policy students in bachelors, masters and Ph.D. programs. Core policy areas of the department include: science, technology and innovation; energy and environmental; information and communication technologies; regional innovation; urban economic development; and ethical inquiry. Our work in these areas benefits from synergies with Georgia Tech’s world-class engineering, computer science, design, and biomedical science curriculums, and a tradition of interdisciplinary innovative research. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
