The Department of Politics at Pomona College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the politics of the United States, with a focus on questions of race and ethnicity. Our department has a broad understanding of the field of political science and encourages applications from a variety of approaches, methodologies and perspectives. Pomona is a top-ten liberal arts college with a diverse and outstanding student body of approximately 1,550 students. The College maintains a student-to-faculty ratio of eight to one and is strongly committed to small-scale residential education. Accordingly, the department values excellent teaching.
