Position Description: |
We are currently seeking one motivated self-financed Visiting Research Scholar to join Professor Xiling Shen’s lab. The visiting scholar will perform imaging experiments to understand how colon cancer stem cells self-renew and differentiate, how they metastasize from the colon to the liver, and how they adapt to the metastatic niche. Both in vitro and in vivo cancer models coupled with fluorescent reporters will be used. Successful candidates need to have expertise in molecular and cellular imaging, in vivo imaging, molecular/cellular biology, and cancer biology.
