Position Description:    

This Postdoctoral Associate position is focused on understanding how environmental effects in early life and adulthood interact in their effects on lifespan in wild baboons. The candidate will take a lead role, under Alberts’ supervision, in analyzing the effects of early adversity, adult social status and adult social connectedness on health and survival in male and female baboons. A PhD in biology, ecology, or evolutionary anthropology or related fields is required by the time the position begins. The position will be supported by R01AG053308. The salary is $52,500 per year.
