Position Description:    

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign nuclear theory group expects to have one or more open postdoctoral research positions commencing in the fall of 2020. Appointments are for a two year term with potential extension to a third year. We are seeking candidates specializing in high-energy nuclear theory, broadly defined. Additionally, specialists in relativistic hydrodynamics that currently work outside the field of high-energy nuclear theory are also welcome to apply. Faculty working in the area of interest are Jacquelyn Noronha-Hostler and Jorge Noronha. Interested applicants should submit a curriculum vitae (that includes publications), a statement of research interests, cover letter, and arrange to have three letters of reference uploaded.
