The Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University invites applications for an open-rank (tenured or tenure-track) position. Start date: July 1, 2020. AOS: open. AOC: open. The teaching load is two courses per semester, with advising and service work. The position comes with research funds and full benefits. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in philosophy by the date of appointment or shortly thereafter, and must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching. To ensure full consideration, applications must be submitted to by November 1, 2019.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, cv, writing sample, dissertation summary or research statement, evidence of teaching effectiveness, statement of contribution to diversity, equity and inclusion, and at least three letters of recommendation.
