The Department of Anthropology and the Justice and Peace Studies Program at Georgetown University invite applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant level to begin in August 2020.

 

The tenure home for this appointment will be in the Department of Anthropology and a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology is required prior to the appointment start date. We are seeking a candidate whose research and teaching complement the existing strengths of these two units. The issue and geographic area are open, but we encourage candidates whose research substantively intersects with questions of racial justice to apply. Candidates must show strong promise of excellence in research as well as teaching.
