The Womenâs, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGS) Program at Boston University invites applications for a Full Time Lecturer (non-tenure track) beginning Fall 2020. We are seeking a social scientist who specializes in the study of gendered and sexual inequalities. We are looking for a colleague who has a strong background in feminist and queer theory and methods and who takes an intersectional approach to the study of gender and sexuality. A PhD in a social science field along with demonstrated success in undergraduate teaching are required; an advanced degree or certificate in WGS strongly preferred. The position will require teaching one or more sections of our introductory course sequence as well as a feminist and queer undergraduate research methods course and courses in specialty areas â we are especially looking for courses on sexualities, youth, and embodiment.
