The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position to support Generation Rx (www.generationrx.org), a national educational outreach project that promotes safe medication-taking practices across the lifespan. As part of a dynamic team of scientists, clinicians, and prevention specialists, the successful candidate will create new project content, train new users and partners, and deliver community-based programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will teach 2 sections of an undergraduate course (PHR3420, Generation Rx: America’s Drug-Taking Culture). The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, experience in community-engaged projects, and a strong commitment to student-centered learning.

Applicants should have at least a master’s degree in a health sciences field or related discipline (including but not limited to pharmacy, medicine, public health, nursing, social work, or education) and teaching experience (preferably at the university level).

Salary range for this position is $70,000 – 80,000.

Required qualifications: Applicants must have at least a master’s degree in a health sciences field or related discipline (including but not limited to pharmacy, medicine, public health, nursing, social work, or education) and teaching experience.

Desired qualifications: Ideal candidates will have 2 or more years of university-level teaching experience and proficiency in working with community-based programs.
