SLEEP AND MENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
University Tenure Line or Non Tenure Line-Research

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking 1-2 research scientists to lead independent scholarly research and teach in the interdisciplinary area of sleep and mental health science. Researchers whose work has the potential for direct translation to clinical care are particularly encouraged. Significant research training and a demonstrated track record of empirical research is required. Candidates should have an MD or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, neurobiology, or a related discipline. Clinical care is optional, should a clinician scientist be selected for the faculty position.

The major criterion for appointment for faculty in the Non Tenure Line-Research is evidence of high-level performance as a researcher for whose special knowledge a programmatic need exists. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
