The Gersbach Lab has an opening for a Senior Research Scientist. This position will lead the development and application of technologies for genome engineering to program cell-based therapies. This includes various aspects of cellular and molecular biology, immunology, gene editing, gene regulation, and epigenetics. The candidate should have experience with culture, maintenance, and modification of primary human immune cells and/or pluripotent stem cells. Desirable qualifications include experience with molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology, epigenomic and gene expression profiling, cell transplantation to animal models, and cellular phenotyping by immunocytometry and phenotypic assays. The candidate should have a PhD in Bioengineering, Pharmacology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Genomics/Genetics, or related field.

Degree Requirements: Ph.D.
