Position Description:    

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University invites applications for an appointment as fulltime Associate-in-Research. Applicants must have an MS in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline with training in Neural Engineering. Applicants must have demonstrated research expertise and experience in: design, implementation, and simulation of computational models of peripheral nerve stimulation; machine learning; and global optimization techniques. The successful applicant will be expected to advance computational modeling of peripheral nerve stimulation, collaborate with other lab members, achieve quarterly milestones, and prepare results for presentation and publication.
