The Department of Statistical Science at Duke University invites applications for postdoctoral fellows to conduct research on causal inference. The position will be jointly supervised by Drs. Fan Li, Laine Thomas, Lawrence Carin, with focus on methods at the interface between causal inference and machine learning, although other areas of causal inference such as clustered randomized trials are also of interest. Methods development will be mostly motivated by comparative effectiveness research problems in health studies. Collaboration with other faculty in the Department of Statistical Science, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University will be encouraged. The position is a two-year appointment, starting in 2020 summer. Interested applicants shall submit a CV, statement of research and the contact information for three references.
