The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) (http://ist.psu.edu) at the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure faculty position as a Professor to begin summer 2020. This is part of a multi-year/multi-position expansion of our College. We are especially interested in individuals who apply interdisciplinary perspectives to either the design of interactive technologies or the study of sociocultural impacts of interactive technologies. Candidates should be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in residence and online, research, and contribute to the College’s service and outreach objectives. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or a terminal degree and must provide evidence of a substantial record of advanced research and leadership in their fields of specialization within human-computer interaction.
