Position Description:    

Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group in Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) led by Prof. Seodong Shin (https://sites.google.com/view/jbnuhep/home), located in Jeonju, Korea, invites applications for a postdoc position in High Energy Physics Phenomenology, with priorities in Dark Matter and Collider Phenomenology, which can start anytime in August - November, 2020. The initial appointments will be for one year, and can be extended for an additional year subject to performance review and funding situation.

We are a member of Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) and contributing the projects in BSM subgroup in close communications with the experimentalists. In JBNU, there are two more professors working on High Energy Physics and Cosmology, Prof. Seong-Youl Choi (phenomenology, Dept. of Physics) and Prof. Wan-Il Park (cosmology, Dept. of Physics Education). We also have a close relationship with Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe, Institute for Basic Science (http://ctpu.ibs.re.kr) located in a nearby city, Daejeon.
