College of Business Cornell University The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University invites applications from qualified individuals for a tenure track faculty position for an economist in strategy and business economics, intended for placement in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management beginning July 2021. Rank is open (assistant, associate and full professor) with a strong preference for prior research record and experience teaching Microeconomics. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY. The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). The Johnson School offers MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. programs. Courses and programs are taught at Cornell’s main Ithaca campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York City, and other locations across the globe. Responsibilities:
Job Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD in Economics by the time they start in the position. Preferred candidates will demonstrate high standards of accomplishment in economics research, teaching, and service, complementing and extending the strengths of the College of Business’s current faculty and its vital and collegial community of scholars and practitioners.
