Position Description:    

The Center for High Energy Physics (CHEP) and the Institute for Theoretical Physics (ITP) at Peking University, Beijing, China invite applications for a few fixed-term research associate positions (3+2 years) in theoretical physics. The research areas include

(1) Perturbative and non-perturbative quantum chromodynamics (2) Electroweak physics and physics beyond the standard model (3) Field theory, string theory and cosmology (4) High energy nuclear physics (5) Condensed matter physics.

Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics or related areas prior to the time of employment. They should also have an established academic background and provide evidence of future research potential. The positions will start from autumn of 2021. This is a three-year position plus a renewal for another two years. The successful candidates will also undertake some teaching tasks at School of Physics, Peking University.
