The Boston University Condensed Matter Theory group welcomes applications for a three-year postdoctoral fellowship with the start date of August 2021. The successful candidate will primarily collaborate with Profs. Chandran, Laumann and Polkovnikov on various aspects of classical and quantum non-equilibrium physics, the theory of cold atoms, frustrated systems, quantum optimization and complexity and other areas. They will also be encouraged to interact with the other faculty in condensed matter theory and experiment and the broader physics community in Boston.
We encourage candidates to submit their applications by Dec 1, 2020, although later applications will be considered if the position is still open. The required application materials are: a short cover letter, a curriculum vitae including a full list of publications, a statement of research interests, and three letters of recommendation. Applications should be submitted through the academic jobs online website. |
