The School of Aerospace Engineering (ae.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. Applicants will be considered at all academic levels and any technical areas of relevance to aerospace systems, interpreted broadly. It is an exceptionally dynamic period in the aerospace community with many opportunities for research discoveries and new technology development to shape the future of the field. We seek exceptional applicants motivated to “Create the Next in Aerospace” through performing innovative research and creating inspiring learning environments at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Emphasis will be placed on the originality of the applicants' work and its potential impact on the field. Those applying for Associate and Full Professor positions should have established records in research that demonstrates nationally and internationally recognized expertise. Industrial experience is desirable, but not required. Candidates are expected to teach and mentor a diverse student body. Along with undergraduate and graduate teaching, each position requires a balance of research and service responsibilities.
