Emerging Energy Technologies: From Lab To Market. In this role, the lead responsibility for lectures and assignments having to do with taking innovative technology from research concepts to marketable technologies. This individual will present half of the three introductory lectures for the course, focusing on the technology-to-market program in ARPA-E and the best practices for how that is implemented. In addition, the individual will lead on the second assignment of the course, which is for the students to complete a technology-to-market plan for a hypothetical research project. Individual should help recruit two key guest lecturers to discuss energy storage and advanced grid technologies and how they are impacting the marketplace. Finally, the individual will deliver a lecture on energy efficiency as pursued by advanced power electronics. Looking for an individual with expertise in semiconductor technology and experience at ARPA-E as a technology-to-market advisor.
