TRIUMF, Canada's national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics and accelerator-based science, is currently seeking Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join its Theory Department in the fall of 2021. The Department's research interests include particle phenomenology, nuclear theory, particle cosmology, neutrino physics, hadronic physics, fundamental symmetries, ab initio many-body methods, nuclear astrophysics, and physics applications of machine learning and quantum computing. The focus of the current search includes theoretical particle physics (hep-ph) and low-energy nuclear physics (nucl-th).
Applicants must have a PhD in theoretical physics awarded within the past 5 years or scheduled to be completed prior to the position's start date. The successful candidates will show evidence of or a strong potential for carrying out excellent research in an area that is relevant to the TRIUMF research program.
